Plant Based AC athletes made their way to the wonderful SETU Carlow campus to compete in the 2024 Leinster Masters Outdoor Championships. The event was held over two days, with the 1500m event staged on a windy Saturday and the 800m track event held on a somewhat calmer Sunday.
We had great success, with Lea winning two gold medals:
1500m gold - M50
800m gold - M50
Rachel won one gold and one silver medal:
1500m gold - F40
800m silver - F40
Rachel also took a few seconds off her time - achieving a new PR for 800m. Showing that structured training, available for all members of Plant Based AC, pays off!
